Welcome to Shipwrecked Farms Relief Efforts!
Shipwrecked Farms is a non-profit dedicated to helping horses and horsemen in the hard economical times. We are a "No Kill" shelter. The following is our mission statement:
To Prevent good horses from going to slaughter.

- To help horses who's owners have been affected negatively in the current economy by providing training to their horses and making the horse marketable.
- To offer assistance to people that have suffered illness and can not care any longer for the horses and unable to sell due to current economy. Our hope is to prevent These horses going to "Horse Traders" that deal with Kill buyers.
- To work closely with youth and volunteers; to provide education and To bring the community together by helping others, holding castration clinics and organizing point earning system for horses that trained through our program to earn awards.
- To provide means of re-homing the trained horses for owners that are burdened with too many or untrained horses.
- To work closely with other equine rescues, offering training, castration clinics and assistance in keeping horses from going to inhumane slaughter.
- We are working to stop the, "Horse trader's" that lie and cheat people out of the horses they think are going to good and kind homes, when in reality they are going to low quality auctions; the majority of these horses are bought for slaughter and are shipped to Mexico without regulation, in horrible conditions, and are slaughtered with inhumane practices.
